It would be wrong of me to name the actual developer in question but I’ve been asked today by a national brand house-builder to get a client to legally complete on a house within the next few days on a house that won’t be build complete until the end of November. Seriously!!?? I like to think I’m an informed intelligent and experienced property professional but I’ve never been asked to do something like this before. Wondering if I’d simply lost the plot and maybe there was some legal situation that I was unaware of that makes this acceptable I sort the advice of Ramsdens, who laughed and simply said they wouldn’t do it and it would be insane to do so. The conclusion is I’ve not lost the plot but a nameless house builder has!!
